Usually lasting between two and three hours, an engagement session allows you to capture the essence of your relationship prior to your wedding day. Shades of Grey travels to multiple locations, photographing you in beautiful and significant settings. You’re given all images from the session on a DVD and full rights to the images.

Since the dawn of time, brides have carefully washed and packed their wedding dresses, gently setting them in a cedar closet or stuffing them in the attic, secretly hoping that one day their daughters would want to wear the dress at their own weddings. Over the past century, disheartened mothers have learned their daughters often don’t wear their mothers’ wedding gowns for two reasons: 1) moms and daughters aren’t always built the same and 2) styles change. Recently, brides began looking for an alternate way to memorialize their wedding gowns. And trash the dress (TTD) was born. When Shades of Grey trashes your dress, you’ll go to multiple locations, get wet and/or dirty, and change how you look at wedding gowns forever. In other words, you’ll have a blast, and your dress will be all the worse for your wear. Not surprisingly, TTD isn’t just for newlyweds. Many happily married women have pulled their aging wedding gowns out of hiding for a TTD session, and they were thrilled with the results. (For less timid brides, there is no need to worry. Despite the name, all TTD sessions do not result in great damage or any to the gown if you choose.) The bride is given all images from the session on a DVD and full rights to the images.

Moment in Time is for people who want a single maternity session or a single session for their infants or children. There is no time limit, but most maternity sessions last a couple hours, infant sessions last two to three hours, and kid sessions last 90 minutes. Most sessions take place in the studio and outside, and parents or parents-to-be are given a DVD of at least 30 images, with full rights to the images.

Newborns are constantly developing and changing. Almost overnight, a newborn’s personality and profile completely change. That’s where Monthly Moments comes in. With this package, you’ll receive a maternity session and 12 sessions (one each month) during the first year of your infant’s life. You’ll also get a discount off of a first year of life album, an album with photos chosen by you and designed by Shades of Grey to showcase your bundle of joy’s development from pregnancy to one year of life.

Entering senior year of high school is a landmark occasion that begs to be photographed. You will spend a couple of hours with a Shades of Grey photographers at multiple locations. We like to have the senior guide the session, but we’re always ready to give suggestions. You are given a DVD with a minimum of 40 photos and all rights to the photos. You can also add on a proof box of 4 X 6 print of every image, or a custom-made 8 X 10 hard-cover album.
